DataGlance™ MobilePlus

MobilePlus integrates with existing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems and other DataGlance™ Framework products to manage work packages and data throughout the entire electronic Work Package (eWP) work flow life cycle. DataGlance™ MobilePlus product is available as two applications:

  • MobilePlus for Workstation
  • MobilePlus for Tablet
MobilePlus for Workstation is role based and supports the actions or activities needed to manage eWP through the desired workflow. Before generating an electronic Work Package, a users can route work-package forms for review and approval. From within MobilePlus, a user can then create and assemble eWP, and then assign it to other mobile devices to be available for field walkdowns. Automate reporting on task progress by creating and applying status markers to specific documents, and solicit/receive electronic authorizations to start work. The workstation is accessible from a browser on any computer that has proper security authentication. Engineers, design supervisors, foremen, package reviewers and record management personnel often find it best to work with MobilePlus Workstation. DataGlance™ products have been carefully and specifically designed to interface with all Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) system. This includes EAM systems such as ABB Asset Suite, SAP, or Maximo and Documentum, FileNet, and SharePoint. DataGlance™ solutions also integrate well with many proprietary and custom-built systems. DataGlance™ guides our customers through an efficient yet flexible process for designing and integrating EAM systems with MobilePlus. Our integration team will modify this workflow according to customer requirements and business process discussions—as necessary—throughout the design and analysis phases of the project.

MobilePlus for Workstation and Tablet Features

  • Options for manual or automatic creation and assembly of electronic Work Packages (eWP) that closely align with customer business processes.
  • Easy eWP workflow – conduct pre-job brief, annotate documents and procedures, collect data, request changes, add images, provide feedback, perform close-out review, return to planner and supervisor.
  • Route work package forms for review and approval prior to generation of eWP.
  • Assign an eWP to one or more mobile devices in support of m field walkdowns.
  • Obtain operations and supervisor electronic authorization to start work.
  • Assign eWP to crew, individual or mobile device to perform field work.
  • Create and apply status markers on selected documents to automate task progress reporting.
  • Create duplicate eWPs to improve efficiency on similar projects
  • Manage working eWP revisions to work instructions or procedure changes.
  • Remotely monitor eWP progress.
  • Supervisor can force a check-in or submission of an eWP.
  • Send alerts—either to a single eWP, or all eWPs.
  • Review and finalize eWP when work is complete.
  • Distribute complete eWPs for post-project reviews.
  • Choose documents to include in a final QA work package archive.
  • Manage eWP library forms, procedures, devices, and alerts.
  • Monitor eWP metrics – Dashboard
  • Electronically designate and store selected work orders as “Job Jar”
