Data Subsetting

Data Subsetting enables our customer to easily and effectively copy a subset of data from one Application database to another. In place of completely making a database copy, Data Subsetting method is used to copy data for a selected Business Entity or Transaction.

This method reduces the database storage requirement while providing an effective way to copy only the required data from one database to another.

Data Masking

Data Masking methods is used to secure private and sensitive data. During Data Subsetting process, Data Masking can be used to mask secure data been copied to an unsecured environment.

Data Masking can be achieved by encryption, data shuffling, or implementing custom algorithm.

Data Validation & Cleanup

During the course of Application usage, data quality may deteriorate due to number of reasons, data conversion, integration, or application logic error. This may result in orphan, incomplete, or invalid data.

DataGlance Framework can be used to perform Data Validation and implement Data Cleanup solution. A complete Business Entity can be validated for data error and apply the Data Cleanup logic. The orphan data can be deleted, add data to complete the Business Entity, or fix the error data value.

Data Profiling

Data Profiling is the process of examining the data available in an existing data source and collecting statistics and information about that data.

DataGlance Data Profiling can be implemented at Business Entity. A Business Entity can be profiled to analysis and collect statistics.

Data Profiling information can be used to implement Data Cleanup and Data Conversion/Migration rules.
