ServicePlusThe ServicePlus product embraces the concept of services. It is based on Service Oriented Architecture concept. Using ServicePlus product, a set of common services can be setup that can be invoked from outside application to retrieve or process commonly used data. A service is invoked using a standard URL. Each service will except the data in XML format, process it, and return the request back in XML format. The input and output XML format are user defined in DataGlance. The ServicePlus product can be used to convert and format any XML without XLST or any external transformation. The conversion is defined using Mapping & Transformation defined within DataGlance. The ServicePlus product can be used as XML hub. It can be used to process XML in various format and convert it to a standard XML format. For example, a company wide standard can be setup to provide Vendor data in a standard XML format. The ServicePlus product can act as a bridge between heterogeneous products. It can receive XML from one product, transform it, and pass the output XML to another product. The transformed XML can be posted to a predefined Http(s), Message Queue, Flat file, or Database.
